The Plan of Salvation Do you want to be a Christian? If you knew what God says about becoming a Christian (a follower of Jesus), would you do it? Because Christ died, your sins can be forgiven, and because He conquered death you can have eternal life. As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one. -Romans 3:10- Who has sinned? For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. -Romans 3:23-   Where Sin Came From Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. -Romans 5:12-   God's Price On Sin For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. -Romans 6:23-   Who Paid The Price? But God commendeth his love toward us, in that , while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. -Romans 5:8-   The Only Way Out That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth, the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart God hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. -Romans 10:9-10- For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. -Romans 10:13- Can I be sure that if I ask Christ to save me, He will? Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God . . . These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God; that you may know that you have eternal life." -I John 5:1,13- Take God at his word and claim His promise for your salvation. You can accept Jesus here and now. Pray this prayer: Dear God, I confess that I am a sinner. Lord Jesus, I believe that you are the son of God and that you died on the cross for my sins. Right now, Lord Jesus, I am placing my total trust in you. Lord, come into my heart, forgive me of my sins, and save me. From this day forward, I will live for you. Thank you for saving me.
