Church moved to Edwards Hall on East Main Street in a small storefront building.

1929 |
The church moved and erected a tent in Douglas Park on Russell Avenue. Land was deeded to the church by Arthur and Lucy Roberts with the understanding that a church would be erected within 8 years. |

1930 |
The new church building was erected and occupied.

1940 |
Elder Well's health failed and Elder Charles Butler served as assistant to the pastor. |

1945 |
After Elder Well's death, Overseer D. C. Love appointed Elder Ernest Simon as the pastor. |

1946 |
Mr. & Mrs. Roberts gave two more lots to the church for the sum of $200 for the benefit of the church. |

1947 |
Elder Jerry P. Dabney was appointed as the pastor. |

1958-1959 |
The second church building was erected.

Florence James deeded two lots to the church as a gift for a playground to erect for the children.

John and Josephine Spiers deeded two lots to the Radford Church of God in Christ for expansion.

Bishop J. P. Dabney passed away (January).Elder Jerry Wyms who previously served as an assistant to the pastor served as church leader until a pastor was appointed.In March 1981, Bishop Samuel Green Jr. appointed Elder Ronald Watson from Newport News, VA to serve as pastor (March).

Word of Life Ministries Radio Broadcast was introduced on WBLB in Pulaski, VA. |

George and Pamela Harvey deeded 5 lots to the church for the benefit of the church and ministry.

Elder Ronald A. Watson, Sr. was installed as pastor of the Radford Church of God in Christ (March 23, 1985).This was the establishment of OASIS Ministries. |

Groundbreaking ceremony for new church building.

The church purchased property and home on Staples Street from Raymond and Darlene Watson as rental property.
The church purchased property on Allen Avenue from Rosa Beavers and Themelia Jones for development and church's benefit.

Constructed 2 homes on Allen Avenue as rental properties.

2005 |
Architectural plans were prepared by Virginia Tech students for the church to extend the existing church edifice and the Radford Family Life Community Center. The vision for the RFLCC includes expanded daycare facilities, housing for the elderly, a health center, gymnasium, food distribution center, and a recording studio, etc. The ministry of the Radford Church of God in Christ is one that continues to flourish and expand, reaching out to those who have needs. Lives are being changed and transformed forever by the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. As we continue to make history, we strive to work together fulfilling the vision and the mission that God has ordained for this church at this time. |
